About

RecycleVinyl answers one question for each kind of vinyl (PVC): what can I actually do with it? For a lot of vinyl the honest answer is that nobody recycles it, and we say so rather than send you somewhere that will turn you away.

How we decide what to say

• Every fact links to the source it came from. If we couldn’t open the source ourselves, the fact isn’t here.
• Where people disagree, we show each side in its own words, with its own source.
• Quotes are checked word for word against the source.

How we decide what to list

• A place is listed only if we could confirm it from the place itself or a directory that names it.
• Every listing shows the date we last checked it. A listing that goes 12 months without being re-checked comes down automatically.
• Each listing says who it serves. Many vinyl recyclers take material only from contractors or businesses.
• Pilots that have ended, and projects with no way for the public to use them, are described on the item pages but not listed.

Listings last checked: November 7, 2026.

RecycleVinyl is independent and non-commercial. It is not affiliated with the vinyl industry, any advocacy group, or any place it lists.
